So Why Does a BMW Shop Work on an INEOS?
The Grenadier may look completely different from a BMW, but its gasoline powertrain has very familiar DNA. INEOS chose BMW's B58 turbocharged straight-six—the same BMW engine family used across many modern BMW models—and paired it with a ZF 8-speed automatic. INEOS then recalibrated the powertrain specifically for the Grenadier's heavy-duty, off-road mission.
